Whether you're an experienced poet or just starting out, this event offers a platform to share your work and connect with fellow poetry enthusiasts worldwide. Let's unite in commemorating the beauty and potency of poetry in spreading messages of peace on this significant day!

World Poetry Day, observed annually on March 21 with UNESCO's support, champions linguistic diversity, safeguards endangered languages, and enhances poetry's presence in the media. It revives oral traditions, enriches poetry education, and nurtures connections with diverse art forms like theatre and music. Across time and cultures, poetry serves as a catalyst for dialogue and peace, celebrating cultural expression and identity. UNESCO designated this day in 1999 to honor poets, revitalize oral traditions, promote poetry engagement, and amplify poetry's visibility in the media. Join us in celebrating poetry's global impact.
